As a marathon runner, the Motel 6 in Baltimore, MD provided the basic amenities needed for a short stay. Arriving late at night after a long drive, my family and I were grateful for a clean room and a comfortable bed to rest before continuing our journey. The location was convenient for our visit to Loyola University, and the proximity to transportation made exploring the city easy. Despite the simplicity of the room, we appreciated the cleanliness and the lack of carpets, which added to the modern feel of the space. While the staff was friendly, we found the deposit requirement slightly inconvenient, but it was promptly refunded. Being from Sydney, where a vibrant fitness culture thrives, I would have appreciated more family-friendly activities or workshops at the hotel or nearby makerspaces. However, we did enjoy a delightful meal at Joe Squared nearby, adding a flavorful touch to our stay. For a quick and inexpensive stay, this Motel 6 served its purpose adequately.
